Designed for Kaiser Permanente’s San Diego Medical Center, the project program called for workstations for six people. Due to confined conditions, we needed to look at departmental adjacencies to try to carve out an adequate amount of surrounding space. Besides adding adequate space for workers, improved ergonomics and handicap accessibility was another project goal.
